The HCO Board is seeking individuals who have a commitment to building excellence in the disability sector and a desire to contribute to HCO governance to fill honorary board vacancies. The original term will be until October 24th 2019 with the opportunity to renominate at the AGM. 

HCO, proudly based in the Adelaide Hills and the Western Region of Metropolitan Adelaide, is a leading not for profit organisation providing services that support people living with disability and their family to achieve their life goals and aspirations.

The HCO Board works to set strategic directions, establish goals, targets and performance indicators, monitor and enhance organisational performance, identify and oversee growth opportunities and achieve outcomes aligned with the Organisation’s Strategic Plan.

The Board is particularly seeking individuals with Disability/Community Services sector qualifications and/or lived experience of disability with an interest in governance.

The Board meet at 6:00pm on the last Thursday of each month at HCO’s office, 76 Hutchinson St, Mt Barker, SA.

Board members should be willing to undergo a National Police Check, a DHS Working with Children check, provide 2 referees and be prepared to abide by the Organisations’ Code of Ethics.
