CEO since 2016, Sue has an extensive history of working in the disability sector both in the government and non-government sectors and has a strong commitment to ensuring that people with a disability and their families have access to quality services and opportunities.
Sue has significant experience in Client service delivery and organisational leadership. She has extensive knowledge and has built relationships within the disability and community services sectors. She has enjoyed working with the Board, Clients, families, staff and the community ensuring HCO’s smooth transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme and is now focussed on ensuring HCO’s continued focus on service quality and delivering on its mission.
Sue is a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the State of South Australia and is also a member of the National Disability Services (NDS) South Australian State Committee.

Renae has extensive experience in leadership and Client service delivery management in community services. She has worked in the disability sector since 2017 and prior to this has worked in both the homelessness and mental health sectors. Further to, she holds a Double Bachelor’s in Social Work and Social Planning.
Renae is a passionate and driven leader who strives towards continuously improving business practices, and culture, to drive a high-quality service delivery. Her focus in on developing people to not only achieve their professional development goals but to also achieve Client outcomes. She is a strong advocate for people living with disability to have self-determination and to live a life the meets their aspirations.

Jodi commenced with HCO in January 2013 employed as a Corporate Services Coordinator, undertaking the Payroll, Rostering and Finance functions for the organisation.
Fast forward 7 years, now Jodi oversees the HR, Rostering, Payroll and Administration teams as our Manager – People and Culture. Jodi has undertaken Leadership and Management Qualifications and recently completed her HR Management Qualifications.
Jodi has a strong understanding of HCO operations having experienced working within multiple teams during her tenure.

Tim commenced at HCO, as a Team Leader in Accommodation Support, in 2007, following a similar position with a large Disability Services Provider for the preceding three years. During this time he achieved qualifications in Disability Support.
During his time at HCO he continued his interest in Disability and Information Technology (IT), gaining further competence and qualification in Community Services Management and IT Systems and Networking.
This resulted in him, for several years undertaking a dual role at HCO, as a Coordinator with the Client Services Management Team and IT Support.
Due to his continued interest and skills in IT, he then undertook responsibility for IT and Marketing, which has now culminated in his current role.
Throughout his time in the sector Tim has maintained a strong commitment to people with disabilities enjoying full lives and outcomes, in accord with their choices and aspirations.

Niluka joined HCO as a FC in January, 2017 and is a Chartered Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA) UK.
Niluka has 12+ years’ experience in Adelaide and four years overseas (UK and Sri Lanka) across diverse businesses, including energy, health, manufacturing, investment, shipping, freight forwarding, not-for-profit, facility services and councils. Niluka has over five years’ senior leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector.
She has extensive experience in overseeing all the functions of an organisation’s Finance and Accounting department and has excellent knowledge in AP, AR, treasury, fixed assets, banking and inventory.
Her expertise is in financial reporting, financial analysis, KPI reporting, financial planning, forecasting, budgets, cash management and implementing cost saving initiatives and process improvements.

Bryce has worked within the Community Services sector since 2014, moving from Child Protection to Disability Services. He has completed his studies at Flinders University, completing a Bachelors in Behavioral Science majoring in Disability and Developmental Education.
Bryce is passionate about supporting people living with disability to improve quality of life, achieve goals and seamlessly access the community to build social opportunities and networks.
He is excited to work with the Client Services Team to support and up-skill staff working with HCO. Bryce is passionate about ensuring a high quality of service delivery for Clients and their families, promoting continuity of care whilst ensuring Staff are working both towards the organization’s values and Client’s personal goals.

Milan has been working with HCO since July 2019. Originally from Belgium, Milan has a background in mental health and a degree in psychology. He initially stepped into the role as Short-Term Accommodation Team Leader and now fills the Team Leader role across the SIL services, providing support and leadership to Staff and Clients, to ensure a high quality service is delivered.
Milan’s passions lie in supporting the more vulnerable in our community to achieve positive outcomes and to set and accomplish goals, leading to a more enriched life.

Tracy comes to HCO with 27 years of experience in the Disability sector. After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Disability Studies Tracy has worked in a variety of roles from Support Worker, Manager Client Services, Customer Relationships Officer, Team Leader and more recently SIL Business Partner just to name a few.
Tracy strives to continue to learn and develop within the Disability sector, particularly focusing on continuing to learn, navigate and understand the NDIS. More recently Tracy’s role has been supporting Clients and the family to understand NDIS requirements for Supported Independent Living.
Tracy works closely with the team at HCO to review supports, funding and rosters of care to strive for continuous improvement to help our clients achieve their goals of living independently.
With a passion for the Disability sector alongside her lived experience Tracy strives to improve the lives of people with disability to live their best life.

Advocating for disadvantaged and vulnerable people steered Anna away from a career in fashion illustration, design and production and business operations. By 1996 Anna was working and studying in areas of Women’s issues, counselling, domestic violence, suicide prevention, mental health, management, training and assessment, and providing services for people with disability.
Anna came to HCO in 2004 to lead the Australian pilot group of the unique and progressive Neighbourhood Links program whilst studying towards a Bachelor of Social Science at UNISA. During this time Anna has worked across many of the services offered by HCO acquiring a broad knowledge and experience of the organization. Implementing the values of HCO and helping to bring joy and creativity into every day has made for a meaningful and authentic work life.

Jo started at HCO in 2018 as a Community Support DSW. Jo has lived in the Adelaide Hills for 35 years and has been involved in various event organization and cultural development projects in that time. Jo has a Diploma of Applied Science and Certificate III in Woman Studies and Disability.
Jo spent her early career being involved in the home birth movement and had a private practice majoring in Obstetric and Pediatric naturopathic care. As well as being the Naturopath in residence at the Organic Market in Stirling for 17 years, Jo now works at HCO as the full-time Team Leader in Community Supports and brings a passion for community development and inclusion to her approach. Jo studied at the David Unaipon Centre of Indigenous Education and brings a cultural understanding of this subject to any role she works in.
Jo is a Bee-keeper in her spare time and has a small business with her partner developing products made from honey. Jo brings a commitment to quality service and is looking forward to the next chapter with HCO.

Baljit joined HCO in January 2016. Prior to working with HCO, Baljit worked for two years in Western Australia as a DSW. While working with HCO he earned the opportunity to fill an acting Senior Disability Support Worker role in 2017. Baljit was promoted to the current Team leader role in June 2018, and has recently completed a Leadership and Management course.
He enjoys his role and responsibilities as a Team leader and especially loves supporting people with disabilities.

Alison has worked in the Disability NGO Sector for 20 years as Support Worker and Team leader (Murray Bridge and Mount Barker) Alison has a Diploma of Community Services Management.
Alison’s working history has included DSW role for 6 years, Team Leader 10 years (for 2 NGOs), started at HCO as a DSW in April 2019, then in March 2021 become one of two Emergency Assistance Officers at Senior Support Worker level and is now working again in the Team Leader role at HCO.
Alison believes that everyday is an opportunity to encourage, support and thankful. She loves the daily variation that working in the Disability sector brings to all.

Mercy started as a personal care worker in the aged care sector. She has years of experience providing direct supports to Clients with BOC, special needs, and forensic history.
Mercy has led, mentored, and coached team members to provide individualised quality support to Clients to promote their independence.
Mercy is focused on working with team members to develop their problem-solving skills, mentor them to provide quality service to clients and promote choice and control.
Mercy holds in Diploma in community services, a Bachelor in Accounting and Master in Strategic Supply Chain Management.
Mercy has several years of experience working as a purchasing and supply chain person with different International Non-Governmental Organizations prior to joining the disability sector.

Sam is passionate about supporting vulnerable people in the community while promoting citizenship and self-determination while ensuring service delivery is of a high quality. She commenced her journey in community services in child protection with a focus on supporting Indigenous children. From here, Sam completed studies including a Certificate IV in Community Services and Diploma in Disability.
She commenced with HCO in May 2017 as a Disability Support Worker. In her time as a DSW Sam has had the opportunity to work across a variety of HCO services. This has supported her to build positive working relationships with a range of Clients. She stepped into the Team Leader position in December 2020 overseeing both Short-Term Accommodation and Support Independent Living services.
Sam’s greatest pride and pleasure is genuinely connecting with the Client, their families and other representatives, and working in collaboration to make a positive difference in the Client lives which meets their needs and goals.

Amy has started her working carer in community services working in child protection. She has supported Indigenous Youth who are under the guardianship of the minister in residential services prior to transitioning to the disability sector. Amy is passionate about supporting individuals to access services to support their needs and prevent individuals from falling through the gaps.
She has completed a Certificate IV in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs and is currently undertaking further studies in Psychology and Criminology. Amy is heavily involved in volunteering in her local community including when she lived in Ceduna, Coober Pedy, Alice Springs, and Nullarbor (Cook). In her spare time, she rescues and rehabilitates animals and wildlife to support them to returned to their natural homes when they are fit and ready.

Jison has been working with HCO since April 2019. Prior to working as a support worker, Jison worked for 5 years on board merchant ships as a Navigation and Safety Officer. After stepping down from the ships, he completed his studies in Disability Support in Adelaide and started working with people living with disabilities.
Jison’s four years of experience in the Disability sector has taught him a great deal about dealing with complex situations and has honed his ability to manage conflict. Jison is keen to unitize his passion for excellent Client support and providing the best possible experience to the residents of HCO Centennial Court.
Apart from his work, Jison loves going camping and 4wdriving with family and friends, and at home he loves watching the cricket and playing with his dog.

Sukhraj (Raj) came to HCO in 2019 with a Diploma of Community Welfare and recently completed an Advance Diploma in Management and Leadership and Management training.
Raj started his journey with HCO working as a DSW. “I enjoy providing direct support to people with disabilities and learning about their individual needs”.
In Jan 2022 Raj took up the opportunity to join the Emergency Assistance team. The EA Officer role requires knowledge of operations across all HCO services. “I strive to continue to learn and develop skills within the Disability sector with a particular focus on leadership. In my spare time I love to play cricket and keep myself fit and healthy. I really enjoy any work involved with helping people with disabilities live their best life.”
