Award winning artwork

The Day Options Clients have cleaned up at the 2021 Mt Barker Show, winning multiple awards in both the Arts and Crafts, as well as the Jams and preserves categories.

A special congratulations goes to John De Bono who was awarded the Champion Sash for his sewing projects. HCO won first prize with a collaborative effort for the painting of a lion. Congratulations and thanks must also goes to the Art program support staff for their ideas and assistance with the work.

In the Jams, pickles and sauces section Nel’s Kitchen produced a winning Fig Jam and Plum sauce. 

Our thanks go to Bunnings at Mt Barker for the donation of goods for activities and projects including the coloured string artworks, and the pot people project.
