For three decades, HCO has been a pillar of support for people living with disability in the Adelaide Hills. This year marks an incredible 30 years of unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to enhancing the lives of those in need.
Hills Community Options Inc. was incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act on February 13th in 1995, HCO began with a simple yet powerful mission: to empower individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Over the years, HCO has grown, evolving to meet the changing needs of the community while staying true to its core values of human dignity, integrity, diversity, citizenship and self-determination.
Through a wide range of services, including personal support, skill development, social programs, and community engagement, HCO has positively impacted countless lives. Their team of dedicated professionals and volunteers has worked tirelessly to create a safe and supportive environment where Clients can thrive.
As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, HCO extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Clients, their families, staff, and community members who have been part of this journey. Their continued support and trust have been instrumental in shaping HCO’s success.
Looking forward, HCO remains committed to it’s mission of working quietly in and with the community alongside people living with disability and their families, supporting them to exercise their own life choices and aspirations.
